Ashley Ng, Violin
Minnesota violinist Dr. Ashley Ng is an active performer and music teacher in the Twin Cities. A section member of the Duluth Superior Symphony Orchestra and the South Dakota Symphony Orchestra, Ashley has performed with ensembles in the greater Minnesota area including the Kenwood Symphony as acting-concertmaster in 2015, the La Crosse Symphony, and the Southwest Minnesota Orchestra. Ashley has been a faculty member at the Yinghua Academy Music Conservatory since 2016 and teaches private lessons in the Twin Cities.
Ashley attended The Boston Conservatory (BM '11) and Boston University (MM '13), and recently graduated with her Doctorate in Musical Arts in 2017 from the University of Minnesota. She was a member of the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra directed by Benjamin Zander, and collaborated with the Boston University Arts Outreach Initiative performing at the BU Medical School. Her past music festival attendance includes: National Orchestral Institute ('13), National Repertory Orchestra ('12), and Madeline Island Music Camp ('11) as an Advanced Quartet Program Fellow.
